Bloochip adds .Net into its Skill Portfolio
Bloochip has expanded its skill portfolio into the .Net based stack of technologies from Microsoft. Recently Bloochip bagged the tender for the project "Development of Web Enabled Application Software for Orissa Backward Classes Finance and Development Co-operative Corporation Ltd.". This project will integrate and connect the department's head office with their district offices in Orissa through a seamless Asp.Net based web application.
Bloochip has also registered into the Microsoft Partnership Program to facilitate this step towards .Net technologies. We hope to build from strength to strength and give our customers a wide range of technology choices when implementing solutions to their problems. |

Bloochip implements Complaint Redressal System for East Coast Railways
Bloochip Infoline Pvt. Ltd. has developed a web-enabled Complaint Redressal System for East Coast Railway. The system has been inaugurated by Sri A.KGoyal, General Manager, East Coast Railway, on their official website www.eastcoastrailway.gov.in on 15th March 2008 which will begin a new chapter on the customer-focused service of Indian Railways. The computerized system provides a transparent window on the click of a mouse wherein the complainant can instantly view the status of the complaint(s) lodged by him/her in writing at any of the stations or trains within the ECoR jurisdiction.
The novelty of the system is underscored by its simplicity. Based on realistic study of the users requirement, it has been designed on a three tier analogy in which the 1st level of users register the details of the complaints received centrally at the divisional headquarters by remotely uploading requisite information to the website. While the 2nd level users have the privileges of closely monitoring the compliance action by the railways, the 3rd level of public domain provides exclusive access to the complainants at large, who can easily find the status of the complaint by correctly typing his/her name and station/train on the search fields of the web page. |

Web-CMS bags IT@wards
 Bloochip Infoline Pvt. Ltd. bagged the runners-up award at the IT@wards conducted by CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) in association with Department of Information Technology, Govt. of Orissa on the 22nd of February 2008 at Hotel New Marrion, Bhubaneswar, India. The occasion was graced with the benign presence of dignitaries’ in the IT sector of Orissa including Mr. P.K.Mohapatra, the honorable IT Commissioner cum Secretary, Government of Orissa.
The Award was presented by IT Minister Surya Narayan Patra at the InfraEx, the exhibition on infrastructure (on the annual day meet of Confederation of Indian Industries) on 18th of March 2008. The ocassion was graced by State Law and Industry Minister Biswa Bhushan Harichandan along with Urban Development and Public Enterprises Minister KV Singhdeo, CII Eastern Region Chairman Biswadip Gupta, and CII Orissa vice-chairman Santosh Kumar Mohapatra.
The topic of the competition was “Best practises in IT Implementation”, and was represented by Teams from both Service USERS and Service PROVIDERS. The service USERS presented different IT Implementations in their organization, which have manifolded their processes and efficiencies. The IT Service Providers on the other hand, showcased their commendable achievements in taking initiatives towards IT Implementations at various levels. Mr. Siddhartha Mohanty and Mr. Jitesh Kumar Jena represented the Bloochip Team.
Bloochip's web-based product Web-CMS, a Content Management System (CMS) for easily developing & managing websites, developed in Open Source Platform (LAMP Technology), was highlighted in the competition. Web-CMS has earned huge response in the domestic market as well as at an international level in all sectors of the industry to easily and efficiently manage the Content of the website in a multi-lingual framework. |
