Summary: Banspani Iron Limited (BIL) is an iron ore crushing plant located near Joda in Orissa. The existing MIS system at BIL, though fully operational, has evolved with the growth of company's requirements rather than as a part of a planned development effort. Hence, there have been inherent issues of reliability, scalability and adaptability. We undertook a thorough study of the existing system and IT implementation at BIL, and prepared an exhaustive feasibility study report for implementing an ERP system to enhance overall productivity at BIL. |
